Primary Location: Overland Park, Kansas

About you

You’ll be an experienced developer and expected to understand the needs of software development, operations, and a sense of security with cloud hosted software. You’ll be an excellent team player, yet capable of working independently with little direction who brings a systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills, and a sense of ownership and drive. You’ve had experience deploying code into AWS and know your way around CI/CD pipelines along with containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or EKS. You are passionate and believe in concepts like unit testing and test-driven development. On the process side, you are familiar with Agile and advocate the principles of the agile manifesto working directly with your team of engineers, architects, and product specialists to deploy value to our multi-region customers around the world as rapidly as possible.

Essential Requirements:

  • Able to work in both Linux and Windows based environments and associated code frameworks as an experience (8+ years) developer (.Net, C#, .Net Core).
  • You will have had experience deploying code into AWS with a strong understanding of pipelines.
  • Experience with using containerization tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
  • Software Development experience and associated IDEs and Revision Control tools (e.g. Git/GitLab).
  • Will provide technical expertise with a small group of software engineers, identify key operational, business and platform challenges and opportunities.
  • Has the ability to drive large scale projects while familiar and advocate of an Agile work environment.
  • You will design, develop, test, and operate end-to-end software solutions.
  • Become familiar with all dependencies of the software.
  • Determine optimal and efficient designs for the software application.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience and deep understanding of with Amazon Web Services (AWS) tool suites and capabilities.
  • CI/CD build systems or automation testing experience.
  • Previous experience with modernizing applications to the cloud.
  • Experience in developing new deployment pipelines and processes from scratch.
  • Experience with SaaS services that have migrated to cloud environments.
  • Extensive experience with micro-services architectures, design patterns, and standard methodologies with an eye towards scale, automation, resiliency, and high availability.
