Principal Accountabilities:

  • You will be an experienced developer and expected to understand the needs of software development

  • You will be an excellent team player, yet capable of working in a collaboration environment who brings a systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills, and a sense of ownership and drive

  • You will be an expert and leader in your chosen programming languages and have had experience deploying code using CI/CD pipelines

  • You are passionate and believe in concepts like unit testing and test-driven development

  • On the process side, you are familiar with Agile and advocate the principles of the agile manifesto working directly with your team of engineers, architects, and product specialists to deploy value to our multi-region customers around the world

Principal Responsibilities:

  • You will lead the development of multiple areas of the software system
  • Provide technical leadership to a small group of software engineers
  • Able to work in Windows based environments and associated code frameworks as an experience (8+ years) developer (.NET, C#, .NET Core, or React)
  • Software Development experience and associated IDEs and Revision Control tools (e.g., Git/GitLab)
  • Has the ability to drive large scale projects while familiar and advocate of an Agile work environment
  • Designs, develops, tests, and operates end-to-end software solutions
  • Become familiar with all dependencies of the software
  • Determine optimal and efficient designs for the software application

Education & Experience:

  • 8+ years programming experience, in a managed language context, especially C# 
  • Familiar with concepts such as Infrastructure-as-Code, Containerization, Immutability 
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services desirable 
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD and AutoDevOps desirable 
  • Experience with Unit Testing frameworks and Test-Driven Design 
  • Experience with .NET 4.7.2 and .NET Core desirable 
  • Experience with JavaScript ES2015+, act (React v16.8+) and Typescript desirable 
  • Familiar with software Design Patterns. 
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or Docker desirable 
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment is desirable
