AppSupport Technical Engineer - Outseer

Provides technical support expertise in a complex information infrastructure environment. Ability to convey sophisticated ongoing technical system support. Manages technical processes between teams, resolution, and cross-functional communication.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Address and manage tier 3-4 support tickets.
  • Analyzes, tracks and resolves customer’s most complex technical issues in a professional, timely manner.
  • Provide technical assistance and remote troubleshooting support as part of a global 24/7 support organization including availability to perform on-call (after hours) shifts.
  • Configuration and Development.
  • Work closely with our product and R&D teams in identifying gaps, bugs, and product improvements.
  • Develop playbooks to automate processes.
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve the deployment pipeline.
  • Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards.

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong UNIX / Linux hands-on experience and proficiency in writing scripts in bash.
  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS or security systems.
  • Experience with Support of Security products.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong sense of commitment.
  • Writing SQL queries.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • The ability to work on P1 incidents after hours and on weekends where required.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Git, Ansible).
  • Experience with monitoring systems and other reporting tools (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus).
  • Experience in working with Oracle databases.
  • Working knowledge of modern software architecture, web services / micro services and how they are used in the cloud.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer-science\information-systems.
  • Programming experience (Java/C/C++ etc.)..
  • Experience in the Cyber Security domain is an added advantage.
  • Experience with containerization platforms, such as Docker, Kubernetes.
