The Regional Director will lead the growth of RSA’s FRI business across a given country or cluster of countries, with overall responsibility for achieving bookings targets and capitalizing on further market share within given countries. Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong security software and Enterprise solution sales experience and have a proven track record of being an inspirational sales leader with a solid track record of sales one on one management who leads from the front and can inspire world-class sales performance across the region. 

Key Responsibilities:

The role holder will have overall direct and or matrix responsibility for the resources across a specific region.

You will:

  • Lead a team of Sales Managers/Account Managers to maximize revenue opportunities across region with a laser focus on employee, customer and partner satisfaction

  • Qualify, drive and deliver incremental business opportunities underpinned by exceptional operational excellence

  • Develop a best in class sales team who are laser focussed on driving growth through a combination of net new Logos and developing existing business relationships

    • Attract, hire, and retain top talent

    • Build a strong talent pipeline for the future

    • Coach and develop with an agenda of personal growth and continuous improvement

  • Focus on customer satisfaction and insisting on delighting customers through delivering value both in the short- and long-term

  • Providing strong sales 101 leadership to ensure our teams are inspected, goaled, measured and held accountable for deliverables and KPIs.  Setting clear expectations and accountability within your team, for example around opportunity inspection, territory/account/opportunity planning, forecasting and SFDC hygiene

  • Lead the sales organisation to go higher and wider in their accounts and seek out net new opportunities across the entire RSA portfolio

  • Assess development gaps to provide the right level of learning intervention for success

  • Drive, meet and exceed quarterly balanced business results while building a long term sustainable business to deliver revenue and market share growth

  • Lead change initiatives in response to a changing competitive and economic landscape

  • Build highly effective business strategies and tactical execution plans based on customer requirements, market trends, competitors’ presence and allocated budgets

  • Generate new and innovative ways to accelerate RSA’s business in the region

  • Remain current on medium and long term security marketplace trends and adapt our business accordingly

  • Be an integral part of the Management Team, working collaboratively in a complex matrix environment sharing and inspiring innovative ideas, sharing success cases and best practices 

  • Inspire and motivate others through well-executed communication with highly relevant content that energizes the audience

Required Experience:

  • High integrity leader who can demonstrate transparency and candidness

  • Deep understanding of the security market and able to translate this into a winning formula for RSA in country/region

  • Self-starter with the ability to be strategic

  • Enterprise Software sales leadership with multimillion $ targets

  • Proven track record as a demonstrably successful sales leader with the ability to execute through others

  • Proven experience in building high performance teams through hiring, developing, enabling, coaching best practice

  • Ability make tough decisions based on strong data analysis and change direction as needed

  • Ability to focus on outcomes with the ability to identify root causes of challenges and recommend solutions

  • Strong analytical skillset to understand the human and data elements of a business to find opportunities for growth

  • An instinct to ‘over-communicate’ to bring the team with you through change

  • Ability to set stretching goals and manage deliverables and priorities

  • Ability to lead on commercial negotiations, ensuring we profitably grow revenues and margins across all opportunities

  • Proven relationships with customers, partners and key market players

  • Demonstrable thought leadership and can interchange between transactional and transformation as required

  • Experienced at managing across different geographies and cultures

  • Must be mobile and willing to travel throughout the country/region
