Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Authors and executes test cases and testing methodology for automated tests.

  • Understands and adheres to delivery/quality targets established during regression and testing phase.

  • Develops new test methodologies or processes, re-evaluates existing processes. Contributes to the development and achievement of organizational goals and objectives.

  • General understanding of business environment. Fosters teamwork and collaboration within and across work groups.

  • Responsible for providing requirements and specifications for the test cases. Accountable for delivery of subsystem, anticipate issues and addresses proactively.

  • Fully competent in the design, implementation, and maintenance of a test environment, including necessary equipment, configuration, and software.

  • Demonstrated skill with developing appropriate test methodologies. Fully competent in the use of necessary tools and applications.

  • Designing and developing test automation scripts. Using test automation guidelines.

  • Researching issues in software through testing.

  • Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.

Experience and Skills Needed:

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in Software Testing in security application domain with at least 4+ years experience with Automation.

  • Strong exposure to Test Framework and Techniques.

  • Good experience and knowledge of Automation tools and respective environment, which should includeSelenium WebDriver

  • Good Knowledge in Understanding Selenium Commands, HP Performance Center and JMeter

  • Tools exposure includes JIRA, HP Quality Center

  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and scripting. Must be hands on working in Virtualized environment – VMware/Hyper-V

  • Good understanding of testing methodologies with Agile Scrum/SAFE Agile

  • Experience in application servers with prime focus on WildFly and WebLogic.

  • Working knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, J2EE environments

  • Good understanding of security fundamentals (e.g., authentication, cryptography, Directory services)

  • Ability to understand the requirements and provide effective test artifacts and Solutions

  • Ability to communicate clearly the needs to the internal & external cross functional teams

  • Ability to troubleshoot the issues and provide solutions with the functional & domain knowledge

  • Cross-Functional skill; Communication skills; Problem solving skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in Azure or AWS Deployment, Active Directory, Containerization

  • Knowledge of database query for DB troubleshooting
