Job Profile Summary

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manages existing channel partners.
  • Works with channel partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities.
  • Provides channel partner feedback to the company to match market needs with company products.
  • Develops, motivates, and coordinates RSA SecurID sales team and Channel sales team to optimize sales execution Interfaces with the channel to ensure that service level agreements are met.
  • Customarily and regularly engaged at client facilities (when allowable).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports a range of accounts in the Central US territory.
  • Gains access and manage relationships with distributor managers.
  • Some exposure to senior leadership Interfaces directly with customers to ensure satisfaction with our solutions.
  • Full understanding of how our business model relates to selling our products and services.
  • Point of contact but may escalate customer issues/concerns as appropriate.
  • Able to negotiate with others to achieve desired results/meet customer needs.
  • Resolves less complex issues that have been escalated by junior team members.
  • Articulates how our business model relates to selling our products and services

What you’ll achieve
As a Channel Sales Account Executive, you will manage existing channel partners, working to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities, all in the service of optimizing sales execution so that service level agreements are met.


You will:
• Support a range of channel accounts and partners
• Develop and manage day-to-day relationships with our channel partners and distributors, ensuring high satisfaction with our solutions
• Fully understand how our business model relates to selling our products and services, being the main point of contact
• Resolve or escalate any customer concerns as appropriate
• Negotiate to achieve desired results and meet customer needs

Essential Requirements
5 to 10 years of similar experience working with the Channel or in a relationship-selling role
Good oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers, leadership and support other team members

Ability to travel throughout the US

Desirable Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree         
  • Channel Sales experience
  • Field sales experience
